“I started off knowing what I envisaged the end product to be – a fynbos wanderland on the mountainside – but did not know how to go about what would be a daunting project in anybody’s language. Cape Contours cleared the long neglected site, developed a plan that was tweaked, and came up with a planting plan, including appropriate plants(and some personal favourites). The site was re-sculpted, using rock on site, to create hand-packed stone retaining walls. An impressive achievement, that sets the tone for the whole garden. With planting completed in November 2010, I look forward to the garden developing its own unique character, caught between the sea and the mountains. The work was completed long distance, with courtesy, efficiency and understanding.”

“Cape Contours, after discussion with ourselves, came up with an excellent plan which complied with our Estate’s Western Cape indigenous plant requirements. They continuously liaised with our building contractor to ensure that their work could be correctly scheduled after the necessary site preparation was completed. The irrigation system sub contractor completed his work followed by top soil then planting. The overall landscaping was excellent and subsequently there has been regular returns to check on the planting.”

As we look at our new garden every day and see new treasures and riots of colour influencing the landscape, we wanted to thank you all most sincerely for a splendid job very well done.
