Stephen Steyn

Stephen was born in 1973 into an environmentally conscious family. It was a natural succession entering the department of life sciences at the Cape Town Technikon upon matriculation 18 years later, specializing in Landscape Technology and receiving his N.Dip in this field.
After graduating he worked throughout the continent of Africa on environmental rehabilitation and restoration projects. After six years he was appointed director of Hydromulch East Africa Pty Ltd. He resigned from Hydromulch to spend four years travelling the world.
After his thirst for travel had been quenched, he returned to South Africa and re-entered the green industry in Johannesburg where he headed the landscape maintenance department for Ekslusiewe Tuine CC.
So as to satisfy a burning ambition to own his own company, he, together with his brother Bevil Steyn, set up their own company, Cape Contours Landscapes in 2006, to take advantage of a niche market in the landscape industry in the Western Cape.
Thus far the Cape Contours CC has managed to establish a loyal clientele and have been passed on from client to client in what they regard as the most effective means of advertising.

Bevil Steyn

Bevil grew up in the same family environment, together with his brother Stephen. He did his studies at Saasveld Forestry College and qualified with his N.Dip Forestry.
He then spent 7 years working as a forestry contractor in Zululand where his botanical knowledge developed.
Bevil then spread his wings travelling the world for 8 years and ultimately retuned to his home country. Together with Stephen he launched cape Contours, which continues to build on its ever improving reputation.

Nolusindiso's Human Recourses background in various environments has built up her strong administrative drive and excellent organisational skills. In her capacity as Director and Member of Cape Contours she is involved on a strategic level as well as heads up our corporate marketing efforts and tendering department. With this Nolusindiso hopes to bring scalable structure to a rapidly growing Cape Contours Landscapes.

Sean spent 3 years studying design, after which he has continuoisly worked within the industry. He redesigned MCG Industries office block, working as a freelance designer, after which he worked as a designer for Gregory Mann Architects. Sean's diligence, attention to detail and fine designing creates the perfect asset to our team.

Julia Budden

Julia changed careers from Psychology & HR into Landscaping in 2006 and studied her diploma while living in Australia. She spent a year working as a junior in a Landscape Architecture compary in Brisbane and then returned home to Cape Town where she has since worked within the residential and commercial markets. She has developed a very good working knowledge of plants indigenous to the Cape and continues to create cost effective, functional and beautiful gardens for our clients.
