The owners say the secret of this masterpiece created by Stephen Steyn of Cape Contours Landscape Design and Supply is illustrated by his close observation of their specific needs, likes and dislikes. The result, an elegant yet practical garden with a Balinese flavor says Stephen, had to be predominantly white and blue, incorporating plants with fragrance. He says the use of foliage texture was just as important as floral appeal. Ultimately he had to create a degree of privacy in different areas without reducing any views, as well as a garden that appears to be an extension of the golf course.
